Last updated: 22 October 2026

This policy explains what the PandaBox Android app (package com.vnvclasses.pandabox) and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it. PandaBox is run by Vinisha Jain ("we", "us"). If you have any question, write to jain.vinisha1@gmail.com.

In short: we collect only what the app needs to work and to save your progress. We never sell your data, we show no ads, and we use no advertising or tracking tools.

Who PandaBox is for

PandaBox is a study app for Class 9 students and their parents. It is not meant for children under 13. If you are under 18, please use PandaBox with your parent's or guardian's permission. Parents can contact us at any time to see, correct or delete their child's data.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files, and we do not use your device's advertising ID. The app asks for permission to show notifications, which it uses only for study reminders and the Focus mode timer.

Gyan Panda (AI)

Gyan Panda's answers are written by an AI model from Anthropic. Your doubt, your recent messages in the chat and the context above are sent through our server to Anthropic to create the answer. We don't store your chats on our server, except answers you report. Anthropic processes the text only to give the answer and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models. AI answers can be wrong, so check important things with your book or teacher.

Who helps us run PandaBox

We use these service providers, and they may handle your data only to run PandaBox for us:

Some of these providers may process data outside India. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone, and we don't share it for advertising. We would share data only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Payment records are kept by Google Play under its own rules.

Your choices and rights

How we protect your data

All data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Database rules let each student read only their own records, and the AI key is kept on our server, never in the app.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
